The role you’ll contribute:

The Employee Services Senior Manager provides leadership and vision in support of HR Shared Services for AdventHealth facilities. Oversees all activities related to service delivery within HR Administration and Contact Center and ensures operational effectiveness in accordance to established policies and procedures while successfully resolving and routing employee inquiries, maintain accuracy and integrity of employee records and meeting established service level agreements. This individual leads HR Shared Services Managers and works closely with HR key stakeholders to develop best practice processes, providing assistance on critical needs and coordinating operational initiatives.

  • Responsible for the operations and effectiveness of the HR Shared Services HR Employee Services through leadership of HR Administration, Contact Center and Document Management teams. Ensures departmental leadership have the tools and resources to lead effective teams

  • Oversees the management of the end-to-end process of core HR functional transactions related to workforce management, employee/job data within the HCM system and the employee record within Perceptive Content

  • Develops, schedules, communicates, and implements audits to ensure process flow and data integrity of transactions are in compliance with federal, local, and state regulations, and company policies/procedure, and to ensure optimal and accurate service delivery

  • Develops, monitors, and ensures processes for evaluating and auditing telephone calls, workforce management transactions, including compliance-related documentation, separations, and organization, position, and job code transactions

  • Manages and holds accountable HR Employee Services managers to effectively implement SOP’s, policy changes, in-service teachings and consistently meet departmental goals

  • Reviews metrics and tracking mechanisms to ensure operational performance in accordance with established metrics, quality standards, and service level agreements; Reports variances to the Employee Services Director

  • Promotes a culture of continuous process improvement and transparency. Utilize analytics, customer feedback to determine knowledge gaps and partner with HR Functional Leads to resolve

  • Partners with HR Leaders to promote open communication, feedback and alignment across HRSS. Collaborates on all functional process/policy changes and technology updates for remediation and determines impact on HR Administration

  • Partners with HRBP’s and HR Leaders to implement strategic initiatives. Coordinates project team as needed and delivers resource needs for successful implementation and overall manages the data integrity throughout the project

  • Serves as an escalation point for complex issues and utilizes strong negotiation/mediation skills and industry experience to reach resolution

  • Partners with other HR Shared Services leadership to identify opportunities for improvement and streamline process across Tier 1 and Tier 2 functions

  • Partners with HRIS to ensure effective use of technology, resolve current issues, and recommend ongoing updates/improvements contributing to a positive customer experience

  • Develops and maintains effective partnerships with HRBPs to assess facility needs and identify any challenges or gaps

  • Collaborates with Process Improvement Team to streamline processes within Employee Services and across Tier 1 and Tier 2 functions. Executes planned improvements and quantifies results

  • Collaborate with Employee Services Director to accurately forecast and monitor department staffing needs utilizing capacity and productivity analysis

  • Work collaboratively across AdventHealth to ensure that employees continue to grow personally and professionally and that strategic initiatives are consistently met

  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices and HR regulatory and compliance requirements, identify gaps, opportunities and propose solutions

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Business, Human Resources or a relevant field

  • Seven years of experience in Human Resources required, preferably in a healthcare environment

  • Three years of experience working with Tier 1 to Tier 2 (or similar) escalation process

  • Five years of managerial experience

  • Experience in a large employer setting with complex and varied HR programs and policies, preferred

  • Human Capital Management (HCM) experience, specifically PeopleSoft, preferred

  • Master’s degree, preferred

  • An HR Industry Certification: SPHR (Senior Professional Human Resources), or SHRM-SCP (Society for Human Resource Management), preferred
