AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and quality focused PA to join our growing team at AHMG Orthopedics at Castle Rock. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional clinical skills, a passion for patient care, and a desire to contribute to the growth and success of our practice. As a PA with our team, you will diagnose and treat a wide range of ortho conditions, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive medical services.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience REQUIRED

• Experience in either an orthopedic outpatient or inpatient setting is PREFERRED

• Experience assisting in an OR is PREFERRED

• Master's degree and certification from an accredited Physician Assistant program

• Current Colorado Physician Assistant license

• Current Basic Life Support - CPR Cert

• Knowledge of local, state and federal regulations regarding the delivery and billing of healthcare services

Responsibilities:

• Assures timely and accurate entries of medical histories, progress notes, and treatment recommendations in the patients' medical records.

• Assures all patient management documentation, including pharmaceutical modalities, is outlined in the patient's medical record.

• Practices within scope, as delineated by education and training including prescriptive privileges and in accordance with collaborating physician guidelines.

• Collaborates with the clinic Medical Assistants.

• Assists physician providers in the operating room with surgical cases

• Refers patients for laboratory, radiology and other specialty care as needed for services that cannot be provided at the practice.

• Assures that adequate patient health records and confidentiality are maintained under HIPAA regulations.

• Participates with supervising physician in a periodic review of the patients' health records and treatment plans.

• Appropriately charges for services rendered according to Federal, State, and third-party payors laws, rules and regulations.

• Performs other clinical duties as required

Our expert orthopedic physicians are ready to serve the community with non-surgical and surgical care for osteoarthritis and any condition impacting our patients' hip, knee, spine, shoulder, elbow, hand or wrist.

Our physicians have finished their fellowships in orthopedics, completing comprehensive training in their subspecialty areas beyond their residencies. In addition, our specialists are well-versed in the latest innovations in orthopedic care, such as biologic shoulder resurfacing, partial knee replacement and custom joint implants.

We treat traumatic injuries and sports injuries and our spine physiatrist provides excellent evidence-based care for both neck and back pain, including non-opioid pain relief.
