Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full Time

You Will Be Responsible For:  

  • Coordinate a fund-raising program which will identify, target, and cultivate donors and new prospects by using various fund-raising vehicles such as affinity programming, direct mail, phone-a-thons, gift clubs and special events, under the direction of the CEO/Foundation BOT.
  • Collaborate with CEO/Foundation BOT to establish annual fund fiscal year strategies, plans and programs.

  • Assure that the annual fund calendar of events, mailings, programs, and visits are carefully scheduled with relation to the other activities within the community.  Seek opportunities to leverage other hospital activities to encourage giving by donors.

  • Develop and implement additional ways to recognize donors appropriate to their giving level.

  • Recruit and manage volunteers for annual Franklin County community campaign.

  • Research and develop strategies in reaching constituents through technological advancements in fundraising.  Develop and maintain analytical tools for measuring these advancements.


Qualifications

What You Will Need:

    • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.

    • Ability to be creative, innovative and willing to share projects and ideas with staff.

    • Must work well independently following projects and activities to completion.

    • 4-year Baccalaureate Degree

    • Five years related experience in fund raising and programming.     

Job Summary:

Responsible for the hospital’s annual giving objectives through the coordination and managing of fund-raising activities and the cultivation of prospects and donor.  Position is part of a comprehensive Hospital fund-raising program and must coordinate activities within hospital’s primary service area.
