Work Hours/Shift:

Full time eves

You Will Be Responsible For:

Assist the Emergency Department Assistant Nurse Manager with proper patient placement and facilitate patient movement throughout the department.

Monitor ED dynamically for ways to increase efficiency in patient care.

Ensure the department is always properly equipped 

Open communication with and entire team

Monitor wait times of test results (i.e. Labs, X-Rays) to including contacting physicians and departments as needed.

Data collection and timekeeping

Make recommendations to leadership based off findings through data collection or experience to enhance current processes.

Continuously communicates with ED ANM on changes, influxes of patients, and opportunities identified in the flow process.

Round in all the Emergency Department areas PRN with the ED ANM.

Monitor Emergency Department waiting room for surge conditions

Continuous communication with the Triage RN to ensure appropriate placement of patients per ESI.


What You Will Need:

3 years experience in ED field or similar

Minimum associates degree in Nursing 

FL RN license 


Job Summary:

Real-time monitoring of staff efficiency, patterns, and time management related to the patient treatment and movement through the Emergency Department. Assist in reducing our patients overall wait times through ED. Monitoring of standard treatment/benchmarks criteria set by facility Leadership to reduce occurrences of defined outlier or negative QA evaluations. Data collection of various metrics will be reported to leadership.
