Work Hours/Shift:

Full-Time/ Days

You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Nurse Leader rounding for patient satisfaction
  • Completes departmental payroll
  • Compliance with The Joint Commission (TJC) standards to assure compliance
  • Assists Manager in assuring daily staffing needs are achieved
  • Provides initial orientation for new employees upon hire
  • Assists Manager with ongoing departmental Performance and Quality Improvement Initiatives
What You Will Need:
  • Minimum of three years RECENT acute care nursing experience
  • Minimum of one year Leadership experience 
  • Registered Nurse with licensure in the State of Florida
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and others as required by department
  • Certification in area of specialty within two years of accepting position
Job Summary:

In collaboration with the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for all the following duties and responsibilities.  These include, but are not limited to customer service, financial management, regulatory compliance, human resource processes, staff competency, performance improvement, policy/procedure development and compliance, and regular communication with department staff.  Under the direction of the Nurse Manager, the Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) provides leadership and oversight with all unit functions and patient care issues on a day-to-day basis.  Duties and responsibility may occur outside of typical office hours.
