Work Hours/Shift

Full Time, 40 hrs per week

You Will Be Responsible For

• Greets customers, answers phone, responds to emails, and schedules appointments.
• Oversees daily operations of Associate Health office.
• Coordinates Workers' Comp of AdventHealth Hendersonville Associates.
• Reviews all submitted Workers Compensation events and determines if OSHA recordable.
• Provides basic first aid for injured employees or schedules evaluation with Workers Compensation provider when needed.
• Reports annual OSHA recordable injuries to the NC Department of Labor.
• Reports off quarterly numbers of OSHA recordable injuries, days away from work, and days of job restriction to the EOC
committee.
• Prepares and posts the facility's OSHA 300A form annually.
• Develops and coordinates light-duty program.
• Reviews and manages employee work notes/restrictions and provided recommendations.
• Coordinates the needle/sharp exposure protocol and exposure lists.
• Evaluates work exposures, manages follow up labs, and filing of documentation.
• Conducts pre-employment screenings, vaccines and lab compliance and clears associates for hire.
• Conducts TB testing, N-95 mask fit testing, lab draws, and urine drug screens as needed.
• Orders and manages medical supplies and medications.
• Manages and tracks annual health requirements of employees.
• Reviews annual TB Questionnaires, provides annual mask fitting, and updates immunizations as needed.
• Maintains all employee health related records.
• Scans employee files/documents into Preceptive Content.
• Maintains and updates Associate Health standing orders annually and as needed.
• Completes employee workstation assessments as needed and provides employee education and recommended action plan.
• Organizes annual flu shot clinics and orders necessary supplies.
• Manages Associate Health Policies.
• Reviews and updates Associate Health related education for new hire orientation and BARE facts.
• Monitors and records daily temperature logs for proper medication and lab supply storage.
• Provides guidance on communicable illnesses and restrictions in the workplace.
• Manages employee Covid-19 testing, monitoring, quarantine, and return to work clearance.

 

Qualifications

What You Will Need

  • High School Grad or Equiv
  • Minimum of 5 years nursing experience
  • Licensed Registered Nurse required 
  • Basic Life Support - CPR Cert

Job Summary

Responsible for the daily operations of the Associate Health office. Coordinates AdventHealth Hendersonville workers' compensation and light-duty program. Conducts pre-employment screenings, vaccinations, lab draws, and fit testing as need for work clearance and manages annual employee health requirements thereafter. Provides recommendations regarding injuries, exposures, job restrictions, communicable illness, and return to work clearance. Maintains all Associate Health related records and policies.
