Work Hours/Shift:

  • Monday – Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm with weekends as needed 

 

You Will Be Responsible For: 

  • Responsible for achieving and maintaining year-round Patient Experience scores in the targeted metric determined by the facility
  • Plans, develops and maintains clinical programming on inpatient psychiatric units, and actively assists with workflow and coverage needs
  • Participates in the hospital administrative team in the overall management, planning, budgeting and policy development within the Behavioral Health department
  • Performs Quality Assurance reviews for the Adjunctive Therapy and Social Services Departments to ensure compliance of state and federal regulatory agencies, department policies, standard operating procedures; and regulatory guidelines
  • Assists with administrative duties, tracks timeline strategies; and develops tracking reports for special projects
  • Maintains up to date knowledge of involuntary commitment patient Laws to ensure hospital compliance within the provision of patient care
  • Represents the Behavioral Health department within the community with participation on committees, task force and other appropriate settings
  • Participates in activities and educational opportunities to promote growth and development • Opt-In participation in Emergency Notification System as applicable to facility
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Masters and 2+ years experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

Two years of supervisory/administrative experience in a healthcare setting

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

Basic Life Support - CPR Cert

Clinical Social Worker License

Licn Mental Health Counselor

Registered Nurse

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

License Addition Counselor OR Licensed Clinical Addition Counselor

Advanced Clinical License

GENERAL SUMMARY: The Behavioral Health Clinical Supervisor is a Mental Health professional that is an active member of the management team. The BH Clinical Supervisor is responsible and accountable for the overall clinical programming of inpatient units within the Behavioral Health department. This position supervises Behavioral Health department support staff as assigned. The BH Clinical Supervisor is the direct supervisor for the Social Services and Adjunctive Therapy Departments if those departments apply. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all
