Work Hours/Shift: 

  • Full Time Day Shift
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 430pm

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Provides building maintenance to the AdventHealth Hospice campus.
  • Provides general and preventive maintenance and repairs as needed in all campus buildings.
  • Maintains and repair buildings' plumbing and electrical systems, including inspecting and testing lights, replacing worn or defective parts such as gaskets, ballasts, switches and light bulbs and inspect walls for damage.
  • Identifies those problems that require maintenance or repair by outside sources and communicate to supervisor recommendations.
  • Provides touch up and detailed painting including finish work to interior and exterior walls and trim as needed.
  • Checks daily to receive written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.
  • Performs all other duties as deemed necessary by the Facilities & Materials Management Manager or designee

Qualifications

A.    Education and Training: High school diploma or GED is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted at the discretion of the Administrator.

B.    Experience:  Minimum of 2 years experience in facilities, maintenance, or related field is required.

C.    Certificates and Licenses Required:  Certification in building systems is preferred.  

Job Summary:

The Campus Maintenance II position is responsible for maintenance and repair of campus buildings and grounds by

performing a variety of maintenance and repair work.
