Work Hours/Shift:
 Full Time, 3rd shift, five days a week to include working every other weekend

You Will Be Responsible For:  
  • Utilizes knowledge and practices hospital organization policies, procedures and mission.
  • Flexible and willing to make changes as deemed necessary, i.e. schedule adjustment, or floating.
  • Uses Team Throughput/Cerner Bed Management system to maintain productive flow of beds and patients, call in and outs as required. Assists with High Profile /E.V.S. cleaning step process and serves as a dispatcher, if needed.
  • Maintains positive relationships by appropriately communicating information, evidenced by no more than one complaint in six (6) months intra-departmentally.
  • Accountable for personal conduct.  Promotes and contributes positively to inter-departmental relationships with no more than two (2) complaints in a six (6) month period.

Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • Ability to lead, accepts responsibility, exercises authority, and functions independently using effective written and verbal communications
  • Ability to accept direction and respond to the ever-changing matrix of hospital needs
  • Ability to use discretion when discussing confidential personnel related issues
  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
  • One year experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor (Preferred)
Job Summary:
The Team Leader assists the Shift Supervisor, Operations Managers, and department Directors in the day-to-day function of the department. Maintains a high level of quality in all aspects of the department’s duties by training, supporting, supervising, and interacting with department team members. Coordinates with EVS Managers, ensures that all schedules are assigned and completed daily. Ensures assigned areas and housekeepers are supplied with items and chemicals needed to perform daily functions. Set a positive example for department through professional interactions with team members, customers, patient and families.
