You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Meets hospital goals for predetermined monthly census and admissions

  • Achieves targeted number of admissions per referral source

  • Develops and implement strategic marketing plans to include goals, objectives, strategies & tactics

  • Discusses hospital quality metrics and benchmark indicators with referral sources

  • Articulates Mission, Values and benefits of transferring to hospital

  • Builds and maintains strong relationships with all referral sources by interacting with Case Managers, Respiratory Therapists, physicians, ICU staff and families to introduce hospital, services and benefits

  • Executes educational in-services and activities for key referral sources in territory

  • Schedules and participates in facility tours for referring case managers and physicians as well as families.

  • Reviews monthly performance and patterns to demine where to adjust and/or re-focus efforts

  • Completion of timely and accurate on-site preadmission assessments/updates to evaluate the ongoing appropriateness for LTAC level of care

  • Obtains all information necessary in order to provide a timely approval decision

  • Meets targeted number of daily meaningful face to face contacts

  • Enhances and promotes hospital by serving as an educational resource on our services for referrals sources including physicians and discharge planners

  • Maintains a strong working knowledge of the competitive landscape and is proactive in offering suggestions on how to combat competition

  • Sales techniques such as cold calling and contact planning will be utilized

  • Monitors marketing activity through call/activity logs and profiling of customers is key for this position

  • Works cooperatively with Director of Business Development and Admission Coordinator to determine the patient’s appropriateness for admission

  • Completes and submits by deadlines, all activity reports, goal outcomes, expense reports and any other reports/paperwork as requested

  • Champions the mission and vision of the organization, projects a positive and professional image of the hospital and displays a customer service attitude toward patients, visitors, staff members and referral sources at all times

  • Follows AdventHealth attendance policy

  • Reports accidents and injuries promptly

  • Adheres to AdventHealth compliance program and policies for all marketing activities


Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • Valid Driver’s License

  • Proof of Insurance, and

  • Either:

    • Current license of Registered Nurse in Florida or Licensure from another State with verification of application and eligibility for Florida licensure by endorsement, or

    • Current AS degree in Respiratory Therapy

    • Current Florida Respiratory Therapy Licensure

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or Graduate of an accredited Institution with a degree in Respiratory Therapy

Job Summary:

The Clinical Liaison is responsible for developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan to grow defined territory in order to meet census and admission goals. The Clinical Liaison will initiate and maintain strong relationships with key referral sources that results in converting referrals to hospital admissions.
