AdventHealth Central Texas and AdventHealth Rollinsbrook offers a flexible staffing alternative for RNs on a temporary basis for an assignment with a maximum duration of 13 weeks. Assignments may be extended per original assignment terms but cannot exceed 12 consecutive months total at any one location/facility. 

Position and Hourly Rate: Registered Nurse (RN) - $70/HR   

Includes Shift differentials: Yes  

Includes Emerging Disease pay if eligible (based on patient assignment): Yes   

Stipend/ Per Diem: Should you live more than 60 miles from the facility discuss with your Recruiter or the Interviewer.  

Completion Bonus: $2500 for 13-week contract. (Prorated if contract is shorter than 13 weeks) ** Should you live more than 60 miles from the facility discuss with your Recruiter or the Interviewer about the completion bonus.

Schedule: Guaranteed 36 hours a week

Shift:  7:00pm – 7:00am available NIGHTS

The role you’ll contribute: The Registered Nurse performs direct patient care activities that are developmental and age specific for the population served. The Registered Nurse performs a wide variety of job duties during their shifts; promotes and restores patients’ health by collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members, completing the nursing process and the patients’ plans of care, providing emotional, physical and spiritual support to the patients and their families and supervising assigned team members.  The Registered Nurse is under the supervision of the Nurse Manager and the assigned charge nurses.

• Deliver patient centered nursing care using the SHARE principles to ensure high levels of patient satisfaction.

• Provides quality care by adhering to Standards of Practice, measuring health outcomes against patient centered goals.
• Utilize multidisciplinary team strategies to achieve quality outcomes.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by complying with policies and procedures, calling for assistance from healthcare support personnel when needed.

Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

• Registered Nurse License to practice in the state of Texas or a Compact Registered Nurse License from a NCLA Compact State.
• Associate Degree in Nursing. 
• Active BLS
• Active ACLS
