Work Hours/Shift:
  • Full-Time, Monday – Friday

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Design and configure the QlikView applications front-end calculations (i.e. set analysis, aggregations, etc.) as per business requirements
  • Responsible for interpreting business needs of stakeholders and develop analytical solutions
  • Provide technical support for ad-hoc financial reporting or decision support needs.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation for PE Help Documentation and other Guidelines.
  • Maintain existing dashboards and reports.
  • Provide technical support for data warehouse and business intelligence initiatives.
  • Maintain Physician Enterprise intranet (ARC) site.
  • Create processes to assist with data gathering for dashboards and reports.
  • Run routine audits to ensure data integrity in all reports and dashboards.
  • Maintain data warehouse uploads and mapping documents.
  • Creates and maintains an up-to-date status report of all priorities, tasks, and issues on a weekly basis.
  • Effectively collects and creates technical and/or automated solutions to report data.
  • Sufficiently documents work and ensures cross-training with peers.
  • Strives to create simple, dynamic, and sustainable applications that look professional and are easy to follow and understand.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness with data.  Monitors own work to ensure quality. Consistently reviews and validates numerical data.
  • Demonstrates technical aptitude and exhibits ability to learn and apply new skills.  Utilize system tools to support financial analysis and decision support activities.

Qualifications
What You Will Need:

Education and Experience Required:

  • 4-year degree in Business, Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or related is required
  • Experience with data warehousing tools including but not limited to SQL, Access, VBA, etc.
  • Ability to make independent decisions

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Visio, etc.)
  • Must be competent in the use of Microsoft Excel
  • Data warehousing tools (SQL Server, etc.)
  • Microsoft Access
Job Summary:

The Decision Support Analyst applies technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills to provide solutions/improvements within the Physician Enterprise Finance department.  This person demonstrates competences in decision support and an ability to utilize tools such as Access, SQL, etc. in order to efficiently convert raw data into useful and actionable information.  This person is responsible for creating meaningful applications or tools to support executive decision making. Character traits include: strong work ethic, technical aptitude, trainability, communicative, team player all with a positive “can do” attitude. Excel skills required; Access, SQL, or other programming skills are helpful.
