Work Hours/Shift:

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Demonstrate through behavior of AdventHealth’s mission, vision, values and service standards as outlined in the organization’s Whole Care Experience training
  • Create an environment that assures the productivity, performance, and well-being of each employee in the department
  • Collaborate with CxC, functional, market, and technology leaders to further digitalize and optimize CxC functions as well as develop new services that support AdventHealth’s mission and strategic imperatives
  • Evaluate new service line requests for alignment with the CxC’s vision and capabilities; develop and present the associated business plan, including the resource and budgetary requirements; manage the implementation of approved requests
  • Set direction and manage the expansion or enhancement of CxC services as well as capabilities related to quality, analytics, and technology
  • Develop and present comprehensive plans to support strategic initiatives; ensure project goals and objectives are achieved within the project scope and time frame established in partnership with leadership
  • Craft and manage project plans and agendas; collect, prioritize, and complete activities related to project plan and agendas
  • Identify and respond to issues and risks; own and provide expedient follow through to action or resolution and communicate appropriately
  • Ensure strategic topics are brought for review in alignment with project timelines and governance forums
  • Develop and present executive summaries on strategic initiatives to leadership within and outside of the CxC
  • Lead a team of program managers; delegate responsibilities and assume accountability for team performance and progress

What You Will Need:

Education and Experience Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 7+ years of relevant, manager/director level experience 
  • Master’s degree in business administration, technology, healthcare management, or associated field preferred

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Ability to articulate the mission of AH and the CxC
  • Experience and proven track record with large-scale initiatives and change management in a healthcare setting
  • Proven team builder with experience in developing organizational culture
  • Effective at championing a compelling vision and leading by example, guiding teams through difficult transitions
  • Proven ability to conduct research and analyze and synthesize data from multiple sources
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to design, structure, and oversee multiple initiatives and teams simultaneously; ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Comfort with ambiguity and creating structure
  • Personal integrity and an ability to work under stress
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Strong understanding of business management and healthcare administration
  • Adaptability and flexibility to changing priorities and initiatives
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite programs and Adobe
  • Technological aptitude to master additional programs and technologies, including CRM, telephony, electronic health records, and other potential system

Certifications Preferred:

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Job Summary:

The Director of Program Management is responsible for developing methods and leading the execution of multiple initiatives within the newly established Consumer Experience Center (CxC). This role will do more than manage tasks; they will be expected to apply critical thinking to evaluate new service line requests, optimize existing services and capabilities, and lead the implementation or expansion of new and existing functions. The Director will be accountable for providing oversight, managing timelines and escalations, and developing a deep understanding of CxC, functional, and market knowledge to navigate a variety of initiatives and stakeholders.

This position is responsible for building trusting relationships and partnering with leaders within and outside of the CxC. This individual must have the mental agility to be both a strategic thinker and a tactical leader, capable of understanding and communicating the intersection of each initiative in the context of AdventHealth’s and the CxC’s broader vision of supporting access and an optimal consumer experience. This role requires excellent critical thinking, communication, organization, and presentation skills to successfully lead a team and engage with other leaders and executives
