Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time Days

 

What You Will Be Responsible For:

        Responsible for cleaning offices, disinfecting, high dusting, removing trash, cleaning restrooms, sweeping and mopping

•         Daily Patient Room Cleaning

•         Dismissal Cleaning Patient Rooms

•         Isolation Policies (Occupied and Terminal Cleaning)

•         Handling and Disposing of Sharps and Glass

•         Side to Side Floor Machine

•         Refinishing Floors

•         Floor Stripping

•         Insect Infestation

•         Examine cubicle curtains daily for cleanliness, tears and broken hooks. Replace if needed

•         Transports/Distributes linens to floor

•         Soiled Linen Carts/Collection of Soiled Linen

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

•         Through knowledge/understanding of the eight-step cleaning process

•         Basic computer and keyboarding skills preferrd

•         Two years hospital or equivalent work experience required

•         High school diploma or GED preferred

Job Summary:

Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways, washrooms and other assigned areas of the hospital.
