Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time Days

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Coordinates activities for the Patient Experience Workflow between Food Nutrition Services and EVS.
  • Coordinates all the Patient Experience protocols provided.
  • Promotes the best patient experience as well as knowing satisfaction scores and discussing with the team in coordination with the Operations Manager.
  • Observes the physical condition of the hospital and calls engineering for the maintenance repairs needed throughout the facility and report a tracking record to leadership.
  • Maintains communications with all the reportable data and acts as a liaison between all shifts leadership to ensure a collaboration among all shifts.
  • Maintains close control, orders, and inventories in collaboration with the Operations manager on supply distribution and usage.
  • Reports all pertinent information to the Operations Manager.
  • Works as a liaison between infection control and the EVS department.
  • Coordinates the ATP-GEL process and compliance. Report inspections to the leadership to ensure staff gets notified and trained accordingly.
  • Coordinates the reporting logs in the department such us Attendance, Hazardous Materials Monthly inspections and Hazardous Books compliance.
  • Instills a positive attitude and feeling of pride.
  • Observes for compliance with procedures and regulations during rounding and report to leadership.
  • Advise manager of situations requiring administrative follow-up, operational conflicts, and recurring issues.
  • Knows the names and reporting relationships of nursing/department personnel.
  • Inspects hospital areas to observe for compliance with procedures, regulation and compliance on the Quality Assurance Program in the Environmental Services Department.

What You Will Need:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a written and oral presentations from hourly staff to a Leadership Level.
  • Ability to multitask and stablish priorities.
  • Must possess excellent Customer Service Skills.
  • Ability to maintain organization and control in an ever-changing environment.
  • Must exhibit self-initiative, accountability, flexible and good leadership skills.
  • Must understand how to stablish, goals, objectives, and action plans.
  • Must be proficient on Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
  • Demonstrate ability to read, write, communicate, and understand instructions given in English.
  • Demonstrates Share Behaviors.
  • Must be able to interact with the public and staff at all levels possessing positive communication skills.
  • Must be able to use the Hospital Bed System Correctly pertinent with the housekeeping department.
