The Events Strategist will assist in the development, execution, optimization of events to drive volume and generate brand awareness. A successful candidate will be highly organized, creative, detail oriented, results oriented, motivated, with strong communication skills to assist in event planning and be instrumental in the success of AdventHealth. Must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, be flexible, and meet deadlines. Assists and accountable the development of strategy for recruitment events, client events, internal events virtual events, and other events relevant to talent strategy objectives. Serves as a resource and provides consultation to external teams that play key roles in the success of events. Fosters a transparent culture for the continuous improvement of operations and strategy. Serves as an expert and utilizes strong communication and presentation skills to prepare and deliver proposals that support the talent objectives of Talent Strategy. Works with stakeholders to develop and propose appropriate solutions to attract, engage, and retain talent based on the unique needs of each case. Provides excellent customer service to stakeholders and maintains open communication. 


  • Serves as project lead for AdventHealth micro recruitment events 

  • Stays abreast of emerging trends in the event industry (virtual settings, marketing/engagement techniques and tools.).  

  • Proposes the adoption of new and practical event strategies to further the objectives of Talent Strategy. 

  • Highly organized, creative, detail oriented, results oriented, full of integrity, strong communication skills, and motivated to serve as lead for event planning to be instrumental in the success of AdventHealth. 

  • Monitors, tracks, and assists in the budget and invoice payment process. 

  • Serves as an expert and utilizes strong communication and presentation skills to prepare and deliver proposals that support the talent objectives of Talent Strategy. 

  • Works to build strong working relationships with key internal groups, including Clinical Groups, Marketing Business Development, Customer Support, Accounting, Creative and HR groups. 

  • Manages vendor relationships and serves as a liaison with key vendors.  

  • Builds a strong understanding of innovation opportunities and present fact-based recommendations to the talent strategy team to enable effective decision making. 

  • Understands the effectiveness of strategies within Strategic HR. Works with teams to educate and inform key stakeholders of how these strategies contribute to strategic objectives. 

  • Monitors, proposes and implements approved changes to enhance the effectiveness of events 


  • Strong understanding event tools and technologies. 

  • Fundamental understating of even operations and planning. 



  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, marketing, communications, human resources or related field. 


  • Minimum of up to two years of relevant experience in marketing, human resources, hospitality, communications or related field.
