Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full Time – M – F – 8a – 5p

 

You Will Be Responsible For:   

  • Lead the establishment of clinical pathways, guidelines, standards of care and outcomes criteria for women’s care at AdventHealth.
  • Develop plan to Monitor compliance of physicians to pathways, guidelines, standards of care and outcomes criteria.
  • Identify, review and recommend new clinical programs, services, therapies and technologies (preventive, diagnostic, treatment) relating to women’s care.  Assist in developing staffing, budget, and operational plans for these new efforts.
  • Develop and implement quality improvement activities as needed to improve clinical care and efficiency of care, as well as the patient experience.
  • Collaborate with and utilize the AH Institutes (i.e. Cardiac, Cancer, Diabetes, etc.) to advance Women’s programs, outcomes and research activity.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven record of accomplishments and experience that advances the clinical excellence vision of AdventHealth for Women
  • Has held a leadership role in an academic or community hospital women’s program/institution
  • Minimum seven years’ experience in a women’s specialty
  • History as board certified physician in women’s specialty

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

  • Current, valid State of Florida license as a physician (retired license acceptable on case by case basis) - OB/GYN

Job Summary:

The Executive Director (EXD) of the AdventHealth for Women provides strong leadership to a developing and growing comprehensive Women’s Service Line and Women’s Service line Physician panel, and develops and leads a growing Women’s Continuum of Care Network on behalf of AdventHealth. The EXD excels at collaborating with physicians, hospital clinical personnel, and administration.

The EXD is accountable for clinical oversight, development, and performance of the AdventHealth for Women’s Program across the AdventHealth System. In collaboration with the medical staff at AdventHealth, AH senior leadership, and the AdventHealth for Women’s Steering Committee, the EXD focuses on clinical excellence, program coordination, introduction of new relevant services, education, and research activities that advance the reputation and market of AdventHealth for Women. 

The EXD leads the AdventHealth for Women “Institute” and provides leadership oversight for the quality, safety, best practice standards of care, clinical research, and clinical integration for women’s care across the AH system.

This EXD plays an integral role in representing AdventHealth for Women to the external market and is ultimately responsible for developing and managing initiatives to support the growth of women’s services across central Florida.

This EXD cultivates and manages strategic relationships with existing physicians, partners, sister hospitals, and other entities in order to identify new development opportunities. This position works system-wide with campuses and departments to maintain continuity for system women’s initiatives. This position serves as an active influential leader, facilitator, executor, and presenter in AdventHealth for Women development planning and execution process.
