Work Hours/Shift:
  • Full-Time, Monday – Friday

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Manages funding sources, including the tracking, monitoring, and analysis of revenues and expenditures of federal and non-federal grants, restricted accounts, gifts, and other discretionary resources

  • Interprets award terms and conditions and develops processes and controls to ensure compliance

  • Prepares budgets, financial reports, projections, and other documentation as needed

  • Responsible for compliance and audit requirements

  • Develops policies and procedures to effectively execute and manage all pre-award and post-award activities

  • Provides guidance to the organization on grant opportunities, awarded grants, and related policies and procedures

  • Builds relationships with executives throughout AdventHealth to enhance awareness of grant compliance and related accounting and auditing requirements

  • Firmly understands auditing and accounting standards applicable to grants

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Be available outside of normal business hours for occasional support needs 


Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related business field from an accredited college or university

  • Five years of experience with grant, not-for-profit, or similar accounting

 
Job Summary:

The Grants Manager is responsible for the financial and administrative management of grants and other funding opportunities. The role is responsible for developing and executing grant strategies and processes, including but not limited to research, budgeting, program design, proposal writing, prospect cultivation, stewardship, and outcome tracking.
