Work Hours/Shift:
Full Time, Monday-Friday.


You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Regularly reviews charge, scheduling and other financial reports along with billing practices to ensure physician and office reimbursement is appropriate
  • Properly prepares check requests for Physician Expense Reports, Provider bonus, and additional shifts worked via Reimbursement/Reconciliation form in accordance with policy
  • Demonstrates ability to read and understand expense reports and work with Practice Manager and/or Director of Operations regarding variances. Understands budgetary limitations and helps office to maintain budgetary limits.
  • Properly processes invoices for payment in accordance with hospital policy
  • Is responsible for training and assignment of tasks to the physician affiliate office staff as needed and directed by Practice Manager or Regional Director of Hospital Based Services
  • Participates in monthly staff meetings. Minutes and a roster are maintained.
  • Prepares, updates and tracks department schedules along with Inpatient Practice Manager to ensure adequate staffing coverage to include on-call schedules, prn staffing.
  • Demonstrates ability to interpret and enforce AHMG policies and procedures
  • Ensures all providers maintain yearly license and certifications to maintain active privileges at AdventHealth
  • Responds to problems/concerns of the physicians and APP providers of the group.
  • Assists with physician credentialing as necessary.
  • Acts as practice liaison for patients
  • Provides reports and statistics as requested by management.
  • Performs other duties and tasks as assigned by Inpatient Practice Manager and/or Regional Director of Hospital Based Services Director Operation
Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 – 2 years’ experience as a lead role in a medical and/or business setting or other supervisory related role, with or without direct reports coordinator experience
  • Computer proficiency required-in Word, Excel, Outlook, Athena, etc.
  • Must have knowledge of TJC requirements and local, state and federal regulations
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Summary:

The Inpatient Office Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations and activities of the hospital-based department in conjunction with the Inpatient Practice Manager, Regional Director of Hospital Based Services and facility Medical Director
