Full Time

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Support the communication needs of organizational strategic initiatives and department requests through effective writing, planning, coordination, design and execution, monitoring project deadlines for consistent delivery
  • Create materials to advance strategic initiatives and systemwide internal communications, while following AdventHealth graphic standards and policies, keeping key messages consistent and standardized, escalating risks to supervisor and department leaders as appropriate
  • Write clearly and informatively, edit work for spelling and grammar, adapt writing style to meet need
  • Oversee creation of internal video content, including planning, shooting, editing, distribution and managing external video contractors (up to 20% of overall job)
  • Execute communication audits as needed to contribute to approach and timeline for utilizing communication partners
  • Coordinate execution of communication toolkits from AdventHealth Corporate Communications
  • Serve as web coordinator managing AdventHealth Connect homepage and SharePoint intranet for AdventHealth Shawnee Mission
  • Manage screensaver rotation in accordance with local and corporate initiatives
  • Develop and distribute two weekly employee newsletters
  • Analyze effectiveness of internal communications campaigns via reporting, data analysis and stakeholder interviews  
  • Support event planning, coordination and logistics for in-person and virtual employee Town Halls
  • Execute monthly Microsoft Teams Live employee updates

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in communications, marketing, public relations or related field
  • 2+ Years of Position-Related Experience

Job Summary:

This position is responsible for a wide variety of communication needs including writing, editing, data analysis, and coordinating and updating communication collaterals for various strategic initiatives and campaigns. This role will assist with executing internal communications throughout the organization in regard to change process initiatives and updates. This position will build relationships and work closely with communication team members, project managers, as well as organizational executives on internal communication plans, goals, and projects. This person will continually seek opportunities to provide value to the Marketing, HR and executive teams.
