You Will Be Responsible For:

Licensed Clinical Social Workers or Licensed Professional Counselors Needed for new project between

AdventHealth Medical Group and Killeen Independent School District.

AdventHealth Medical Group (AHMG) is recruiting for LCSW, LPC,  LMFT therapists to join us in these groundbreaking School Behavioral Health Centers on Killeen Independent School District (KISD) campuses. The SBHC program includes providing and education to students, families, and staff

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

Requires graduation from an accredited Master’s Degree program in social work, counseling or a related field, and appropriate licensure as required by state law. 

Must have one of the following:  LPC or LCSW or LMFT (licensed certificate as required by state law)

Requires knowledge of the principles, laws, and practices of social work in a psychiatric outpatient setting.

At least two (2) years of experience under supervision as a clinical social worker in a psychiatric hospital or outpatient clinic setting is preferred. Experience should include individual, group, and family therapy and discharge planning in a therapeutic care setting

Job Summary:

The AdventHealth Medical Group, Licensed Clinical Social Work position is trained and licensed to treat clients with emotional, behavioral and mental health disorders. Counseling sessions may be one-to-one, group therapy, or sessions involving family members.  As part of the counseling process, they may refer patients out to other specialists, conduct interviews, testing and risk assessment sessions with patients to evaluate their mental condition and formulate a treatment plan.
