Manager of Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement AdventHealth Home Care WFL Administration

Work Hours/Shift:

Full-Time/ Days

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Comply with all department policies, procedures, practices, and standards of care
  • Comply with Corporate Compliance Policy and all laws, regulations, and Standards of Conduct relating to the position and agrees to report any suspected violations of law or Standards of Conduct.
  • Ensure all WFD home care locations have successful regulatory, state, federal and TJC survey outcomes
  • In collaboration with clinical operations leadership, accountability for the Performance Improvement Program, including Clinical Record Review, Utilization Review, OBQI monitoring and Adverse Event follow-up
  • Collaborates with other management team members and Agency staff to achieve high patient outcome scores and patient satisfaction
Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • Graduate of a professional school of nursing – Registered Nurse.
  • One year of clinical nursing in a medical/surgical setting
  • One year of Home Care or relevant experience
  • Experience auditing patients medical record for quality/compliance issues.
  • Current RN licensure in the state of FL
  • Valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation

Job Summary:

Utilizing a systematic, comprehensive and data driven proactive approach to maintaining and improving safety and quality care and outcomes, this position is responsible for ensuring that West Florida Division (WFD) home care locations meet all standards established by local, State and Federal agencies; and that each location has successful regulatory, state, federal and The Joint Commission (TJC) survey outcomes.  In collaboration with clinical operations leadership, assumes accountability for the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Plan and Performance Improvement Program, including Clinical Record Review, OBQI monitoring, Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan and Adverse Event follow-up.  Ensures that the agency Infection Control monitoring documents are completed, tallied, reported, and trended according to policy in a timely manner. 

Collaborate with the clinical operations and education leadership to ensure quality orientation of new clinical staff, performance improvement activities, compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards and survey readiness.   Serve as a resource person for staff.  Auditing of patient records to ensure proper documentation is achieved.  Able to function as backup for other supervisory positions. 

This position requires the ability to travel to WFD home care locations throughout the entire WFD service area.
