Work Hours/Shift:

You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Develops and implements policies and procedures specific to imaging services
  • Develops and manages implementation of ACR application submission
  • Manages maintenance of ACR accreditation once achieved
  • Responsible for scheduling adequate staff coverage in clinical areas
  • Provides clinical support when necessary
  • Coordinates the development of materials for demonstration and teaching and provides education
  • Responsible for patient satisfaction results
  • Monitors the quality of service delivered to patients
  • Oversees documentation and monitors the progress of the clinical and support staff
  • Direct, supervise, document, and evaluate work activities of technical, nursing, clerical, and other personnel
  • Coaches staff
  • Assist in planning for the allocation of resources and promotes utilization of resources in a cost-effective manner
  • Rounds on staff in support of employee engagement with identification of High and Low performers
  • Maintains stewardship of departmental adherence to budget including oversight of productivity and expenditures
  • Analyzes routine financial reports and reports monthly deviations from budget to the director
  • Oversees daily treatment schedule and monitors efficiency of schedule
  • Works independently and has ability to make frequent decisions and judgments in clinical areas
  • Able to assist Director in all aspects of the department
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • Must be able to think clearly and quickly in high pressure/high volume environment.
  • Must be able to respond clearly and quickly in high pressure/high volume environment.
  • Must be able to work as a team member with peers, staff, patients, physicians, managers and administration.
  • Must possess ability to collaborate with multi-disciplinary healthcare providers.
  • Must have leadership ability, diplomacy, process improvement knowledge and effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Must have ability to read and understand financial reports and facilitate cost management process.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal direction.
  • High School Diploma
  • Equivalent graduate from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology or hospital-based program
  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience as a registered radiologic technologist, diagnostic medical sonographer, OR nuclear medicine technologist to include a minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience
  • Current Florida License as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Current ARRT (R), ARDMS, OR NMTCB
  • CPR (BLS)
 
Job Summary:
Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating health services provided by the Radiology department.  Develops and oversees implementation of all policies and procedures within the department.  Develops and oversees compliance with fiscal budgets.
