You Will Be Responsible For:  

The Supply Chain Operations Manager oversees a team of analysts that support the supply chain operations for multiple locations within the division. Provides strategic expertise that facilitates supply expense management while continuously improving quality, safety, and satisfaction through clinical engagement. Supervises multiple projects and process improvement plans, obtaining pertinent data, presenting, discussing, and implementing plans. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Qualifications

What You Will Need:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, HealthCare or a related field, AND • Minimum of five years of healthcare experience, OR

• Master Degree in Business Administration, HealthCare or related field

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

• Experience in the healthcare industry

• Experience in a supply chain shared services organization strongly preferred

• Minimum of five years' managerial experience

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION, OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

• Certified Materials and Resource Professional

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Organizational skills; ability to manage multiple, complex projects simultaneously

• Strong interpersonal and communication (oral, written, and presentation) skills to persuade and guide the decision process

• Ability to work in a team environment and with diverse groups of both clinical and non-clinical employees, as well as, with outside vendors

• Ability to serve as a role model/mentor to staff

• Analytical skills including cost-benefit analysis and financial feasibility studies, as well as, ability to analyze complex operational and financial scenarios to render solutions that meet the customers' desired outcomes

• Strong computer literacy/savvy especially in Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

• Negotiation skills and experience with products, services, and materials management techniques

• Demonstrated ability to analyze financial and operational metrics and develop plans to address areas of underperformance

Job Summary:

• Provides guidance and leadership to a team of Materials Management Analysts. Interviews, selects, and trains new team members as needed and provides ongoing communication with staff members to maximize retention.

• Assesses and interprets data relative to supply chain performance measures.

• Implements appropriate actions to maintain or improve compliance with AdventHealth policies and contracts

• Resolves issues including product conversions, decisions on inventory control practices, and contract compliance.

• Collaborates with Clinical Resource Managers, Directors, Senior Administration, and clinical leadership in identifying and implementing cost reduction, evaluation, standardization, and process improvement initiatives.

• Consistently monitors areas for process improvement to ensure optimal resolution for all. Utilizes various database sources to create ad-hoc requests in support of project research and/or quality control.
