Work Hours/Shift:
  • Full Time / Day
You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Provides reimbursement services through various sources. 
  • Performs all other duties as deem necessary by the Senior Accounting Manager or designee
  • Additional Duties and Responsibilities 

What You Will Need:
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. is required.  An Associate degree (A.A.) in business or related field or equivalent from two-year college or technical school is preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted at the discretion of the Administrator.
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in patient benefits or insurance or related field is required
  • No certifications or licenses are required.
Job Summary:

The Patient Benefits Coordinator is responsible for verifying, negotiating and coordinating reimbursement sources for Hospice of the Comforter, including insurance, VA benefits, Medicare, Medicaid and other payer sources appropriate to hospice care.
