Work Hours/Shift:  
  • Full time, Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm
You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Obtains demographic, employment, insurance and current medical condition information from employee.  Verifies any existing data, updates information and accurately registers patient into EMR.  Protects the financial standing of Florida Hospital by appropriately placing financial responsibilities.  Obtains worker’s compensation/corporate authorizations as required.
  • Prepares, processes, and scans the medical records for each employee as required by employee type for documentation by physician and medical personnel.
  • Accurately enters diagnosis and procedural codes into EMR.
  • Prepares and processes required paperwork for Florida Hospital facilities and AHS Corporate Workers Compensation compliance programs and medical records requests per policy

What You Will Need:
  • High school diploma or equivalency
  • CPR Certification
Job Summary:

The Patient Registration Coordinator under supervision of the Employee Clinic Manager is responsible for registering employees with appropriate demographic data and billing information. This position is also responsible for scheduling employee appointments for all campuses, retrieve employee medical records and assist with maintaining employee annual compliance records. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
