Work Hours/Shift:
PRN - Nights
You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Explains pre-testing, testing, and post-testing procedures to patients in a clear and concise manner
  • Prepares and calibrates testing equipment to ensure it functions appropriately and adjusts when necessary. Applies electrodes and sensors, according to accepted published standards
  • Performs physiologic calibrations to assess signals and adjusts when necessary. Provides positive airway pressure (PAP) mask fittings and titration
  • Works under direct supervision in PSG recordings (AVAPS, ASV, MSLT, MWT)
  • Obtains polysomnographic data, while monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact-free. Adjusts when necessary
  • Documents routine observations, including sleep stages, clinical events, procedure changes, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and polysomnographic result interpretations
  • Registers, admits, and discharges patients

Qualifications
What You Will Need:
  • High School Education or equivalent
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Provides assistance to sleep specialists by investigating, diagnosing, and treating sleep and wakefulness disorders.
