The role you’ll contribute:

The Practice Manager II under the direction of the Regional Practice Manager and Director is responsible for the overall success of assigned medical practices.  Responsible for oversight of Employee health, Occupational medicine, Worker's Comp, DOT, Family Medicine, Acute & Curbside Care strategies.  Provides the leadership, direction, administration and coordination of all practice activities except those directly involving professional medical judgment. Has day-to-day operational & training responsibility for operation of the medical practice. Must oversee office staff to ensure patient safety and efficient work- flow. Performance improvement and safety champion.

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Knowledge of policies and procedures of various physician specialty practices sufficient to direct operations and to provide effective patient care. 
  • Knowledge of insurance billing and collections. 
  • Knowledge of fiscal management. 
  • Knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance requirements. 
  • Knowledge of human resources management techniques, principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of computer programs and applications.  
  • Skill in exercising a high degree or initiative, judgment, discretion and decision-making to achieve organization objectives. 
Qualifications

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Previous management experience in a group practice environment
  • Experience in medical records, coding and reimbursement.
  • Education and experience requirement may vary according to combined background.
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma or Equivalent

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

  • State of Florida License in Licensed Practical Nurse or Certified Medical Assistant  or Registered Medical Assistant or Paramedic License
  • BLS
