You Will Be Responsible For:  

Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth Orlando’s service standards.

  • Responsible for understanding, and executing, the digital strategic direction of a product line and/or a brand as outlined by the Product Team.  
  • Proven success record in developing, building and executing first-in-class digital products, services and/or experiences
  • Translates the product vision into a set of detailed, comprehensive product requirements such as user stories, business rules and acceptance criteria.  
  • Prioritizes the feature requirements as user stories in a backlog; managing the requirements throughout the development lifecycle.  
  • Manages the feature development and defect backlog on a daily basis to ensure that priorities adhere to the strategic direction outlined by the Product Team.  
  • Ensures the execution of creative assets developed in support of a feature, such as the visual design and copywriting, to ensure adherence to strategic vision.  
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills, including experience in using hard data and metrics to support assumptions, product requirements and solutioning.
  • Ensuring new product capabilities and/or enhancements are well integrated and vetted within the AdventHealth ecosystem (product lines/verticals/destination brands), including proactively partnering and collaborating with impacted upstream/downstream areas.
  • Proven ability to think strategically, execute methodically and manage competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience in thoroughly testing, validating and approving product functionality against rigorous product requirements and scenarios.
  • Attends daily standups with development studios to help drive priority decisions and remove roadblocks.  
  • Supports multiple cross-functional (creative design and development) teams to ensure a solid understanding of the defined scope.  
  • Communicating changes in strategic direction, product vision, progress and/or prioritizations in a timely, thorough manner to leadership and impacted project teams, including escalation of any issues that could impact the budget, timeline or vision.
  • Attending scrum sessions with development studios to communicate & ensure thorough understanding of product vision/capabilities, identify prioritization needs, remove roadblocks and drive decisioning & creative solutioning.
  • Provides frequent communication to the Product Team on development progress, escalating any issues that could impact the budget, timeline, or strategic vision.  
  • Developing and collaborating on building effective project update/progress presentations and associated communication materials for senior leadership and impacted teams.

What You Will Need:
  • BS/BA in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, IS and /or equivalent formal training or experience.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working in the online industry as a business analyst, product analyst or similar role, with at least 1 year in a leadership role
  • Experience delivering digital experiences for responsive web and mobile apps.  
  • Experience with Agile software development methodology, including daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming and prioritization retrospectives, demos, etc.  
  • Experience testing/validating/approving functionality against product requirements  
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and project leadership skills, including an ability to communicate effectively to cross-functional teams.  
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, understand, and drive resolution of complex critical issues.
  • Proven ability as a team player able to collaborate with and achieve actionable results through others, plus the ability to build strong and sustainable relationships, and the capability to interact within all levels of an organization.  
  • Ability to think strategically and turn ideas into action, with a positive outlook, personal initiative and accountability.
  • Strong experience with product documentation/tracking software (e. g., JIRA).
Job Summary:

The Product Analyst works closely with the Product Manager and broader product team to develop, influence and look after product roadmaps and features based on team strategy and vision. This role is inherently cross-functional: you will work closely with engineering, design, operations, analytics and executive teams to bring products to market and develop and grow business opportunities. You will have the opportunity to manage feature development and defect backlog on a daily basis to ensure that priorities adhere to the strategic direction and ensure the execution of creative assets developed in support of a feature, such as the visual design, content strategy and copywriting, to ensure adherence to strategic vision
