Production Manager Laundry -AdventHealth Orlando
Location Address: 601 East Rollins St. Orlando
You Will Be Responsible For:  
  • Provides direction, leadership and management to the staff performing laundry and related activities in support to the organization’s mission.
  • Ensures that all assigned areas meet operational goals, including acceptable productivity, budget, efficiency levels and established production standards while determining the priorities of the department operations in conjunction with production schedules to ensure the efficient processing of all linen products and utilizing production planning and loss control.
  • Assures appropriate staffing and collaborates on the selection and performance evaluation of all subordinate personnel. Takes appropriate action on disciplinary matters and apply corrective actions in accordance with established policies and appropriate positive discipline steps.
  • Interprets and applies goals, policies and procedures for effective and efficient management of laundry operations and recommends the revision of existing instructions and job descriptions, or the creation of new ones.
  • Takes an active part in plant wide safety activities, by creating and maintaining a safe environment in all plant operations and enforcing safety policies.


What You Will Need:

  • Minimum of two years’ experience in laundry, or related field
  • Minimum of two years of supervisory or management experience
  • Knowledge of process improvement and production planning
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills (Preferred)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (Preferred)
Job Summary:

The Production Manager – Laundry leads the laundry production team ensuring a smooth workflow of the plant while delivering high performance in efficiency, accuracy and in maintaining high quality standards. Acts as a liaison between other plant managers, supervisors, staff and any other service area and focuses on developing talent, building and identifying employee’s strengths and motivating staff while complying with all company guidelines, safety standards and policies, ensuring a safe work environment and protecting the company’s assets.
