 $5,000 Sign-on Bonus available for eligible candidates (see terms below)

Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for coordinating and overseeing care delivered with an interdisciplinary approach, utilizing the nursing process which includes assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. 

  • Directs and provides patient teaching activities. 
  •  Maintains standards of professional nursing practice. 
  • Documentation of records is accurate, complete and complies with the policy and procedures. 
  • Participates in efforts to improve patient care through education, Quality and Safety initiatives and support of facility's nursing Strategic Plan (healthy work environment, clinical excellence, optimal patient outcomes). 
  • Provides leadership, direction and guidance to ancillary staff in the care of patients.  
 
*Bonus Details:
  • 1 year of applicable experience required.
  • Must live 50 or more miles from 601 East Rollins Dr., Orlando, FL to qualify.
  • Full Time employment contract required.
  • Rehires within 12 months are not eligible.

Qualifications
  • ACLS Mandatory at time of hire
  • R.N. graduate of a School of Nursing
  • BSN preferred                                                                                        
  • Previous experience preferred as a staff nurse in acute care clinical setting
  • Able to work under stressful conditions. 
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to communicate to patients, hospital staff and visitors in a concerned and caring way, demonstrating the Standards of Excellence
  • Able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Willingness to accept responsibility
  • Ability to direct ancillary staff and organize work assignments
