PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain existing and all future social media pages for regional messages across all digital platforms.

  • Manage content and messages on all assigned social media platforms within AdventHealth corporate guidelines and best practices.

  • Develop, oversee and manage social media calendar content for the social media pages.

  • Assist facilities with appropriate brand messaging on social media platforms, as needed.

  • Cultivate compelling social media campaigns and partnerships for both internal and external messaging opportunities to optimize content strategy across platforms and audiences.

  • Lead social media strategies and execution to develop brand awareness.

  • Responsible for understanding and utilizing social media message matrix for social reputation management and effective crisis communication. May also be doing work on reputation management on hospital pages.

  • Use appropriate social platforms to share the day-to-day stories of inspiration and expertise inside AdventHealth.

  • Use appropriate social media platforms to effectively leverage media opportunities in television, print and radio and successfully promote partnerships and community-based events.

  • Collaborates with multimedia specialist to generate video stories, highlights and live videos for social media.

  • Collaborates with internal and external communications manager(s) to maximize social media opportunities that help build our brand, increase volume and improve culture.

  • Responsible for tracking and reporting metrics on social media engagement across all platforms.  

  • Works with marketing teams to understand locally-based opportunities that can be used for division-wide messages on social media platforms.  

  • Attends and participates in departmental meetings.

  • May represent the department on cross-functional teams and/or task forces within the division.

  • May occasionally work, help volunteer and/or represent the company at events held during the day, evening or weekends.


Qualifications

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Associate Degree in Mass Media, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Graphic Design or related field.

  • 2-5 years of experience in corporate communications, journalism, health care marketing, digital marketing or related field.

  • Social media management, reputation management, digital video platform(s) experience.

  • Experience creating and executing strategic communications plans across a variety of internal and external vehicles, including email, social media platforms and company intranet.

  • Experience planning and executing video communication tools for use in social media and digital platforms

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

  • Social media deployment and engagement.

  • Social media management in a corporate and/or multi location organizational structure.

  • Social media video, photo and editing on DSLR, cell phone or desktop computer.

  • Experience with social media management software.

 SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to work independently without supervision. Must be responsible and proactive with the ability to complete assignments in the absence of the Director.
