You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Facilitates the GPO and non-GPO contract evaluation and selection process.
  • Coordinates the implementation of GPO and non-GPO contracts and the loading of new/updated pricing.
  • Provides guidance and leadership to the Applications Analyst. Supervises the Applications Analysts work for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintains and submits weekly/monthly/quarterly financial and/or cost savings reports on a timely basis meeting corporate schedule.
  • Assesses and interprets data relative to supply chain performance measures.
  • Manages the cost savings initiatives reporting process.
  • Manages the applications analysts in updating and implementation of new pricing and contracts to the Materials Management database.
What You Will Need:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 (two) years of healthcare experience
  • Requires analytical ability to identify cost savings opportunities, formulate alternative solutions and determine clinical/end user acceptability
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (oral, written, and presentation) skills to persuade and guide the decision process
Job Summary:

The Supply Chain Contract Manager oversees the supply chain for contract management and data analysis and is responsible for managing the Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) relationship.  Also, is responsible for directing and leading the Applications Analysts’ positions to provide timely and accurate oversight for the work produced. Reviews, analyses, and recommends the usage, signing and implementation of all GPO and non-GPO agreements.  Leads on negotiations with vendors and supports AHS initiatives to identify areas for cost savings and/or product standardization by using the AdventHealth process improvement model. Utilizes and maintains the approved documentation methods to report savings initiatives and progress as required by AHS and FH.  Provides support to the Purchasing department and clinical areas in determining appropriate contract/product selections. Actively participate in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
