Shift : As needed

Location: AdventHealth Hendersonville 100 Hospital Drive Hendersonville NC 28792

The role you’ll contribute: Assist physician with medical care in a physician practice setting. Communicates with physician(s)/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Assist the physician in providing medical care to patients in the physician practice setting

  • Documents pertinent information in patient charts by dictation or handwriting

  • Instructs patients for procedures, makes appointments and answers medically related phone calls at physician’s direction.

  • Performs venipuncture; administers injections; aids in diagnostic procedures

  • Takes patient vital signs and accurately documents these.

Qualifications - External

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:

  • Current North Carolina RN license required

  • BLS certification required within six months of hire

  • Medical Office experience preferred
