Qualifications

Required:

• Completed high school or passed GED

• 2 years office management or supervisory experience

Preferred:

  • Proficient in medical terminology
  • 1-year experience working in a library environment
  • Associates Degree in a field related to office management

 

Job Summary:

The Administrative Specialist coordinates and supervises all tasks performed by the library marketing team, performs all acquisition tasks related to book and media purchases, leads the library marketing team, oversees office supply inventory and ordering, and assists the Director, as required. This position coordinates projects for the Director and produces documents and statistical data needed by the department. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.EDU01
