You Will Be Responsible For:

• Facilitate modification to clinical documentation supporting the clinical level of severity rendered
• Support timely, accurate and complete documentation of clinical information used for measuring and reporting physician and hospital outcomes
• Educate the medical staff and other clinicians using a variety of teaching methods.
• Provide orientation to newly credentialed physicians.
• Collaborate with the HIM inpatient coding staff to assist their understanding/clarification of documentation leading to appropriately assigning the DRG representing the patient’s severity of illness/resource consumption.
