Work Hours/Shifts:
PRN Days Available in ICU, PCU or Med/Surg
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Administers all types of medications correctly per age group for all populations served according to policy
- Demonstrates proficient technical skills and operational knowledge of all equipment used on the unit
- Performs daily rotational task assignment as directed
- Supervises Nursing Assistants in the process of basic nursing functions
- Collaborates on Care Plan input
- Monitors EMR for new physician orders and diagnostic results
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- Current GA RN license
- Must be available to work 2 shifts/week including weekend availability
- Current BLS/ACLS required
- One year minimum experience in related nursing area required
- ASN or BSN required
- PALS preferred
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of coordinated nursing care for a patient or assigned group of patients on the unit and for the day-to-day management and supervision of related clinical activities.
