Work Hours/Shift:

Full Time, Day Shift

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Creates and maintains accurate, organized and complete project files to include all documents required for project approvals as well as to sustain internal, local, state and federal regulatory compliance

  • Works closely with Contractors, Design Consultants and other professionals in order to coordinate all construction activities, to include review of existing conditions, scheduling, budgeting, logistics and cost management.

  • Provides coordination for and evaluation of the work of subcontractors on multiple jobs.

  • Conducts meetings between the owner, architect and contractor and shares essential information with the hospital’s clinical and operations staff.

  • Reads, interprets and provides informed critique of drawings and specifications.

  • Coordinates receiving and storage of project supplies and equipment.

  • Coordinates contractors’ work regarding utility interruptions, traffic control, safety and infection prevention.

  • Coordinates transmittal and documentation and retention of plans, contracts, construction change directives, and other related communications with hospital personnel, contractors, and architects.

  • Manages the close out and commissioning of projects to include OEM, staff training, as-built drawings, warranty escrow, and compliance with all contractual requirements of contractors and architects.

  • Manages projects on all off-site properties maintained by AdventHealth North Pinellas.

  • Ensures all new assets installed in projects are entered into the Preventative Maintenance System.

  • Performs other duties as assigned or directed to support smooth and efficient operations of the Hospital’s Engineering and Safety functions.


What You Will Need:

  • In-depth knowledge of building codes and construction practices.
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize and evaluate the work of contractors.
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings, blueprints, and construction specifications.
  • Ability to lead diverse teams through challenging, dynamic opportunities and achieve excellent results.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills with focus on technical aspects.
  • Ability to functionally use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experienced in Microsoft Project or similar software preferred
  • Five years healthcare construction project management experience
  • BS in Construction Management or other construction related field preferred
  • PMP preferred
  • CHC preferred
