Work Hours/Shift:

Looking for someone to cover shifts during the week AND weekends during the days AND overnights to cover vacations, sick time, and volume needs.
You Will Be Responsible For:

Welcome patients to AdventHealth Central Texas

Check-in patients to Emergency Department

Obtain insurance information

Verify insurance information

Obtain Financial Assistance Forms (as appropriate)
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
-
High School Diploma or GED
-
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Suites
-
Typing skill 40+ words a minute
Prefer 1-3 years of steady customer service experience
Prior hospital registration experience PLUS
Job Summary:
To assist patients that are coming into the ER. Will be the front line when a patient enters the ER and help route the patient to the appropriate care. Will obtain insurance information and verify for facility to bill. Will assist patients with any non-clinical questions patients may have.
