Work Hours/Shift:

  • Full-Time, Monday – Friday

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Handles campus-related responsibilities such assigned projects on a timely basis, with accuracy, and with appropriate communication & teamwork.  Assists Concierge Manager with special projects upon request.  Receives calls, questions, and reports of problems regarding Campus issues; refers to Concierge Manager, Sr. Campus Administration Manager or Director or acts as appropriate. 
  • Must be alert to surroundings to handle situations that may arise; ie, security, deliveries, protestors, disgruntled visitors, etc.
  • Serves as concierge for staff and visitors.  Greets and directs all visitors courteously and professionally.  Provides appropriate assistance and directs vendors to proper location by contacting an assistant.  Exhibits a positive attitude.
  • Records housekeeping issues in the housekeeping log book and communicates with Facilities via Work Orders regarding any items that need to be addressed. 
  • Follows procedure in opening and closing front desk and ensures that the front desk and the doors are secure.  Has the ability to handle all front desk duties in absence of the other team members at all corporate campus locations (which may include but is not limited to coffee distribution, mail distribution, ordering of paper supplies, etc.)
  • Answers telephone promptly, handles the needs of the caller professionally and expeditiously
Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • An associate degree in business or office management is desirable or comparable combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of three years as a receptionist/Administrative support experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel Programs.

The purpose of this position is to create a pleasant experience facilitating the flow of business of Corporate Services employees and guests, by providing exemplary service through voice communications and personal interactions. The person in this position offers a warm welcome to community leaders, AdventHealth Board Members, Executives, requiring the highest level of tact, professionalism, and commitment to service; additionally, perform administrative support, handles special projects, fully knowledgeable of all Campus Administration policies, and safety procedures.
