Imaging Operations Manager
Work Hours/Shift:   Full Time

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrates, through behavior, AdventHealth’s core values of Integrity, Compassion, Balance,

  • Responsible for the campus management and daily operations of multiple cost centers and

    business units.

  • Manages positive relationships within the Imaging department, interdepartmentally, with

    customers, and medical staff.

  • Manages financial performance for assigned departments, as displayed by achieving financial

    goals including efficiency improvement and supply management.

  • Hires, orients, evaluates, and coaches staff per assigned department. Maintains high staff

    engagement as exhibited by employee engagement scores/staff retention rates.

  • Ensures exceptional patient experience is achieved in assigned areas as exhibited by

    achievement of patient results. Accountability is based on the attainment of goals assigned,

    through collaboration, to the cost centers and business units that the manager oversees.

  • Supports the Director in developing and implementing strategic plans for all aspects of assigned

    department operations.


Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Strong organization skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of staff

  • Business software proficiency, particularly Microsoft Office Suite, PACS, and Cerner

  • Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals

  • Performance improvement skills

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

    • N/A
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
  • Associate’s Degree in Business or Healthcare related field

  • Three (3) years of clinical experience within Imaging in a clinical setting

  • One (1) years of experience in a management/leadership role

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or Healthcare related field

    • Imaging management experience

    • Experience working with physicians

    • Annual planning- budgets/project management experience

 
LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
  • N/A

    LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION PREFERRED:

    • Florida State License as General Radiographer
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists- ARRT (R) and/or ARRT (CT) and/or ARRT

      (MR)
