GENERAL SUMMARY:

Working with the Marketing team, the Coordinator supports marketing initiatives for key services lines and the markets we serve. The Coordinator applies introductory knowledge of market research and analytics to contribute to the development of marketing plans, which competitively differentiate AdventHealth and ensures the growth of volume, market share and brand awareness. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated enthusiasm for coordinating marketing programs and day-to-day functions, demonstrating independent judgement and creativity. This person will build strong relationships to advance the service lines and market strategy goals and visions. Additionally, he/she will be hands-on, results-driven marketer who is passionate about learning strategy and achieving executional success.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Works effectively, efficiently and collaboratively with Marketing team to grow the AdventHealth brand and meet business goals
  • Contributes to the development of annual marketing plans: setting goals, developing strategies and tactics to ensure operational business goals are met
  • Implements day-to-day marketing efforts for assigned service lines, including digital and social content and collateral creation, event execution and project management
  • Supports the development of direct-to-consumer marketing initiatives to drive volumes and enhance marketing efforts and grow market share
  • Serves as digital and social media liaison, meeting quantifiable goals and objectives; helps oversee internal and external websites for timely and consistent updates
  • Manages digital and social media content to meet AdventHealth brand and business goals; coordinates social media calendar, executes posts, manages website content and facilitates reputation management
  • Serves as a liaison to the Contact Center; maintains accurate information and facilitates marketing needs
  • Manages, coordinates and oversees photo and video production; fulfills internal photo and video requests
  • Assists Marketing team with events and presentations; accompanies leadership to events for audio-visual assistance, as needed
  • Tracks digital and social volume and additional data for ROI reporting to ensure business goals are met
  • Manages donation, sponsorship and scholarship requests; communicates with requestors, fulfils approved requests and ensures hospital receives full value
  • Serves as a brand ambassador; upholding the values of the organization and maintaining consistency of the brand internally and externally

Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
  • Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite software, specifically Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Experience in emerging digital media technologies; working knowledge and engagement in social media platforms
  • Basic knowledge of audio/visual, including photography and videography
  • Ability to be organized and multitask in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Critical thinker with the ability to make educated recommendations for results; ability to work independently and with a team
  • Focus on continuous improvement in the areas of project management, organization and professional development
  • Strong collaborator; ability to build meaningful relationships among the Marketing team, leaders, staff, physicians and community
  • Must be able to read, write and speak conversational English

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS PREFERRED:

    • Two (two) years of health care, marketing, public relations or related experience

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Telecommunications, Business Management or related field

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:

  • Valid Florida Diver License
  • Current Auto Insurance
