Work Hours/Shift:
Per Diem Nights
You will be responsible for:
- Delivers prescribed medication via inhalation in accordance with the physician’s order
- Oxygen therapy in accordance with departmental oxygen protocol
- Performs setup of Holter monitors
- Performs electrocardiograms
- Performs cardiac stress test
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions and treatments, as appropriate
- Educates patients and family members about patient illnesses and clinical interventions
- Ensures patient documentation is accurate, complete and complies with department protocols and procedures
- Cleans and stocks equipment
- Participates in the Code Blue and Rapid Response Team
- Administers all non-invasive modes of therapy for infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
Qualifications
What you will need:
- FL Paramedic license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
Job Summary:
Provides patients with Cardiopulmonary support treatment, care, and evaluations during their inpatient stay.
