Work Hours/Shift:
PRN, Days

You Will Be Responsible For:
  • Ability to perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and reassessments as per policy.  This includes: pediatric, geriatric and the general patient population.
  • Ability to adequately assess and reassess pain. Utilizes appropriate pain management techniques. Educates the patient and family regarding pain management.
  • Ability to perform waived testing (point-of-care testing) per Clinical Laboratory’s and the hospital’s policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth & development and the skills necessary to provide appropriate care specific to condition and age of the patient.
  • Assessment and reassessment of the patient is clearly and concisely documented and communicated. 

What You Will Need:
  • 2 years Associate Degree; Diploma RN or BSN
  • One year of medical or pediatric nursing
  • Current in CPR adult and pediatric required within 1 month of hire
  • ACLS within 6 months of hire
  • PALS within one year of hire
  • NIHSS within 6 months of hire
  • ASPAN preferred
Job Summary:

Licensed registered nurse accountable for providing patient care as a professional care giver or as leader of a nursing team providing care for patients, may be assigned to carry out Charge Nurse functions, collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel to provide safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients.
