Work Hours/Shift:
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Works collaboratively with Assistant CCO to support units and hospital mission, vision and goals.
- Assists with appropriate unit-based orientation and in-services.
- Participates in the selection of qualified and competent employees and assists to assure that qualifications and competencies of all employees are current.
- Conduct formal evaluations according to policy.
- Demonstrates a patient satisfaction focus and strives to instill that same value in other employees.
- Builds effective teamwork and working relationships throughout the organization with directors, managers, staff, physicians, patients and vendors.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- BSN
- 3 years minimum of RN experience in a hospital setting
- Current CPR adult and pediatric, ACLS, TNCC and PALS within 6 months of hire
- Current Kansas State Nursing License
Job Summary:
Licensed registered nurse shares accountability with Executive Director Assistant CCO for effective organization and function of the Medical Surgical and Intensive Care Unit on a 24 hour/ 7 day a week basis, assists overall operations of the unit. Coordinating and developing staff. Collaborates with nursing and other health care personnel for safe and effective patient care for all age groups of patients, provides patient care as necessary.
