You Will Be Responsible For:

- Assists in completing employees' evaluations and competencies
- Interacts with customers and guests in a courteous, polite manner; sets an example for the staff.
- Interacts with the referring physicians to ensure physician satisfaction.
- Investigates complaints and/or concerns per Manager's directive.
- Consults on the hiring of new employees.
- Monitors daily productivity to maintain departmental financial goals.
- Reports all incidents to Risk Management within 72 hours.
- Schedules personnel for work areas.
- Supervises the daily activities of the department and personnel.
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- ABG, EKG
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy from a school accredited by COARC or appropriate body.
- Current NBRC Credentials
- Florida License, CRT or RRT
- BLS upon employment
- ACLS upon employment
- CERNER or another EMR preferred
- Two (2) years of experience preferred
- Leadership Institute courses preferred
Job Summary:
To supervise the daily operation of the Respiratory department to ensure optimal patient care and cost containment. They must administer respiratory care and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system under the supervision of a physician.
