Work Hours/Shifts:
FT Days Interventional Cath Lab
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Identifies and communicates any changes in the patient's status
- Interprets, evaluates and implements physician orders in a timely manner
- Addresses educational needs of patients and their families
- Is able to assist with Cath Lab, IR and Non-invasive procedures as needed
- Able to provide post procedure hemostasis and correctly apply post procedure dressing
- Rotates weekends and nights for call department needs
- Responsible for transporting patients to and from department
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- ASN degree
- Current GA RN license
- Current BLS & ACLS
- Moderate sedation competency
- Critical care skills required
- Experience with PCI & STEMI call required
Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse os responsible for appropriate and safe care of patients in the Cath Lab, IR Lab, Cath/IR Recovery and Non-Invasive areas.
