Work Hours/Shift:

 Full Time Days 

You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Writes clear and legible Daily Activity Reports and Incident reports.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of all post responsibilities.

  • Competently and correctly uses security radio protocol.

  • Demonstrates correct response to Code Pink, Code Grey and Code Silver calls

  • Consistently enforces the AH Ocala parking policy

  • Follows safe driving procedures while driving AH Ocala vehicles.

  • Promotes a secure environment by action and deed.

  • Demonstrates basic knowledge of hospital security.

  • Performs additional responsibilities as directed

  • Responds quickly and effectively to emergency calls.

  • Demonstrates proper Med Flight safety and security procedures.

  • Enforces AH Ocala policies and procedures.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of lost and found/valuables process.

  • Maintains confidentially of security information.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of morgue procedures.


Qualifications

What You Will Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.  

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Prior security related experience preferred.

  • Valid Florida drivers license

Job Summary:

Protects life and property of AH Ocala patients, visitors and staff. Patrols hospital buildings and grounds to prevent fire, thefts and vandalism. Secures, unlock and protects hospital buildings. Responds to the security needs of AH Ocala patients, visitors and staff.
