Work Hours/Shift: FT/Days
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Ensures adherence to the plan, rules and regulations of applicable federal, state, and local regulatory and/or accrediting agencies. Operationalizes and assures compliance with Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and Patient Safety regulations at the service line level
- Creates, analyzes and oversees clinical quality training and the development of clinical measures for the organization
- Collaborates with other departments within the organization to improve quality of patient care including closure of care gaps, improving access to care and responsiveness to patient needs
- Establishes policies, procedures, strategies and objectives specific to assigned departments
- Utilizes database management, decision support, and expert systems programs to access information and analyze data from disparate sources for use in planning for patient care processes and systems
- Effectively communicates with all AHMG employees, providers and other department leaders
- Responsible for managing clinical quality staff
- May travel 25-50% of time to determine clinical quality performance
Qualifications
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Business, Computer Sciences or related field
- Three (3) years’ experience in nursing
- Two (2) years’ experience in healthcare leadership or training
- Experience in practice-based healthcare setting
Job Summary:
The Senior Manager of Clinical Excellence, reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer, is a registered professional nurse working in collaboration with administrators, providers and clinical team members to improve the quality of patient care. This position oversees the management of the Clinical Excellence Team while assisting in the evaluation process and educational opportunities for clinical staff.
