GENERAL SUMMARY:
Leads all the security related issues and procedures. Conducts everyday management and problem solving of security issues

Qualifications

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Inspects, monitors, controls, and patrols work sites, an assigned location, property, and/or people
• Leads the delivery of coordinated safety security services and the day-to-day management and supervision of the related activities
• Supervises and responsibly leads the activities of various levels of assigned security personnel utilizing both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment
• Performs other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Ability to speak, read and write in the English language
• Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to communicate and present effectively in both written and oral forms internally and externally
• Ability to motivate co-workers to function effectively as a team in a challenging environment
• Ability to assess risk and follow a proactive approach

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• High School Education or GED
• Three years of technical experience

LICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:
• Holds and maintains a valid State Department of Business and Professional Regulation Class D Security License
